ProRice LLC Introduces Stallion 5 Herbicide:

A New Standard for Grass and Broadleaf Weed Control in California Rice

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 27, 2026) — ProRice LLC today announced the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) registration of Stallion 5, a high-performance herbicide designed to address the unique weed management challenges faced by California rice growers.
Stallion 5 provides a new formulation of the valuable herbicide tool, Propanil, for controlling the state’s most troublesome weeds, including watergrass, barnyard grass, and sedges. Featuring a new SL formulation of Propanil, this solution is specifically formulated to perform in California’s water-seeded rice production systems.
